At a Wednesday private home gathering for Laura's campaign, a man who admitted to be working for the Arizona Democratic Party videotaped the guests and their cars as they arrived.
Harry Mitchell and the Democrats are clearly worried about Laura's ability to win back Congressional District 5 in November.

The incident was reported Thursday on former CD- 5 Congressman J.D. Hayworth's radio program on KFYI 550 AM. Hayworth said, "I just think that is decidedly undemocratic."
A November poll of District 5 voters showed that Laura narrowly defeats Mitchell in a hypothetical head-to-head match-up.
And on his blog, East Valley Tribune columnist Le Templar wrote, "Knaperek has been classy in how she handled the situation... Do Democratic Party officials really think they are going to find out something relevant by stalking Republican candidates even at private homes, do they hope to intimidate the opposition, or a little bit of both?"
